Schedule and Practical Information for your Buggy Ride in Essaouira

  • Schedule: Our buggy excursions take place every day, from 10:00 AM until sunset.
  • Driving conditions: To take the wheel of our buggies (two-seaters or four-seaters), drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Children and passengers: Access is open to younger ones! We accept children as passengers starting from approximately 5 years old.
  • Pace & Supervision: You depart with your own dedicated guide (we do not mix groups) who will adapt the pace of the ride to your skill level and preferences. A full briefing and safety equipment (helmets) are provided before departure.
  • Transfer: Enjoy free pick-up and transfer if your hotel or riad is located in Essaouira or near the city center.

    After a quick safety briefing and driving practice, you will set off through winding forest trails heading straight for the beaches and dunes. Along the way, you'll also discover the historic ruins of the Sultan's Palace.

    This 2-hour buggy adventure starts with a quick introduction to driving your buggy before heading through the village of Diabat towards Cap Sim. Further along, you'll pass authentic fishermen's huts before heading back through winding forest tracks.

This full-day expedition showcases the best of the Essaouira region, taking you to the coastal village of Sidi Kaouki via wild beaches, massive dunes, and dramatic cliffs. Pushing further south, you'll reach the Sidi M'Barek waterfalls, offering breathtaking panoramic views over an untouched, pristine landscape that hides one of the region's most spectacular sand dunes.
